Orka Advisory was engaged by the client to design and execute a sustainability competition focused on carbon reduction. The competition aimed to encourage innovative solutions for reducing carbon emissions, with the winning project receiving funding for implementation in Western Australia.
The engagement was structured around the workstreams required to address the client's specific context, priorities and objectives.
Developed the competition framework, including criteria for project submissions, evaluation metrics, and the selection process. The competition was open to individuals and teams across various sectors.
Successfully attracted over 100 applicants, each proposing innovative carbon reduction projects. Provided guidance and support to participants throughout the application process.
Led the evaluation process, working with a panel of experts to assess the feasibility, impact, and innovation of each project. Identified the most promising project for funding.
